What makes this collection worth it is not only the price, but the scope of what you get! Among the 71 e-books, you have tons of cookbooks which are a great addition to your virtual bookshelf.  Some of my favorites included are: The 30-Day Guide to Paleo Cooking by my pals the Food Lovers’ Primal Palate. This is an essential book I recommend/gift to anyone asking how to start paleo. It’s also a great resource for those of us who’ve done the lifestyle for a while but feel stuck in a rut or have fallen down the path of paleo “treats” and need a reset.

You also get Civilized Caveman’s A Paleo Pumpkin Thanksgiving! Nothing says ‘Fall’ like anything pumpkin :) George is a great friend of mine and he’s put together some of his best pumpkin recipes at your fingertips.

Another great book is Well Fed by Melissa Joulwan of The Clothes Make The Girl.  If you’ve been to her site, you already know how talented she is – and these recipes are freakin’ awesome. The pictures alone will have your mouth salivating.

There are cookbooks covering everything from ice cream (see below), chocolate, baking, to crock pot-ing and school lunches. Seriously. I can’t even believe how much is in there!

These cookbooks are reason enough to buy the bundle! But here are so many resources included here. It’s not just about cookbooks here. Also included are e-books on the other part of health: lifestyle.  From making household cleaning & personal care products, fertility, motherhood and child-related books for busy families and even a great bodyweight workout guide, there is just so much great information in this bundle.

Again, the price for what you get is UNREAL. At $37, you’re averaging under 50 cents per e-book. That’s pretty much as cheap as you’ll ever get it. But this sale won’t last long – in fact it’s over on October 14th!

Still need convincing? Well, how about a preview of one of, literally, the coolest e-books in the bunch. It’s Ginger Pecan Ice Cream!! from Just Makin’ Ice Cream by Marillyn Beard of the blog, just-making-noise.

This book has 30 ice cream/gelato recipes, 9 cultured milk recipes, 10 sherbet recipes and 10 sorbet recipes…that’s just the recipe part. You’ll be an ice cream expert by the time you read through all Marillyn’s tips, tricks and techniques for making the best ice cream at home.

Now, while I usually try to stay away from most sweet treats, ice cream is one of my favorite past-times :). I’ll allow myself a treat now and then, and ice cream is pretty great fat-content wise, and making it with coconut sugar keeps the Glycemic Index lower. Which is great for Low Glycemic Index Therapy for epilepsy.

Ok, ok, I’ll get to the recipe :) Here it is!

  1. So if you make it with coconut sugar, how much should you put in? I have been using Xylitol and I know it is 1/1 as white sugar and about 2/1 honey.
    Thanks.

I’m not familiar with using xylitol but coconut sugar is 1/1 with white sugar so I guess treat it the same. Let me know how it comes out!
